Fort C.F. Smith Park
Welcome to Fort C.F. Smith Park in Arlington, Virginia, a Washington DC suburb. This park is home to an 1863 Civil War Fort, a historic mansion, and a museum. During the Civil War, there were 22 forts in the Arlington Area, this one has been preserved better than any of the 21 others. Come out and explore the half mile hiking trail where you see some deer, foxes, rabbits, or squirrels or may hear the call of a barrel owl or screech owl.
