Chesapeake City Park

Welcome to Chesapeake City Park in Chesapeake, Virginia. This 90 acre park is home to the local 9/11 Memorial and the kids will love the park's ADA accessible Fun Forest Playground which won the "Best New Facility in Virginia" award in 1996. Annual events that are hosted here include the Chesapeake Jubilee, Celebrate Freedom, and Symphony Under the Stars. Come fly a kite on the wide open field, play some volleyball at the sand court, grill some meats at the picnic area, and bring the pooch to the dog park.

Skate Park: The Skate Park requires all users ages 6 and up to have a membership sticker and wear helmets at all times. All children 10 and under must have a guardian with them at all times. Skate Park features include a spine ramp, a hip ramp, and a three quarter park. It opens daily at 9:30 a.m. and close 30 minutes before dusk. Come out and have fun.

*Please use parks only during posted hours.

*The following are prohibited; defacing public property, harming wildlife, littering.

*The following are only allowed in designated areas; bicycles, fires, fishing, motor vehicles, picnicking, remote control aircraft, swimming.

*All persons ages 5 and up must use the restroom of their designated sex.

*All dogs must be leashed (no longer than 5 feet) and waste removed.
