Welcome to Dutch Gap Conservation Area, a forest and wetland oasis located on the banks of the James River in Chester, Virginia. This beautiful nature preserve is located next to the Henricus Historical Park, the site of the second permanent English settlement in the new world that was built in the year 1611. This park boasts hiking trails and a boat ramp on the James River. Come on out and explore.
