Air Power Park

Welcome to Air Power Park located on the banks of the Southwest Branch of the Back River in Hampton, Virginia. This park got it's name due to the many vintage aircraft from the mid-20th century as well as the free museum about them. One can also bring the kids to the playground or do launch a canoe or kayak from the floating dock. Come learn some history and get some exercise.

Hampton Virginia Park Ordinances

*Unless otherwise posted all parks open at sunrise and close at sunset.

*The following are prohibited; defacing public property, feeding or harming wildlife, littering.

*The following are only allowed in designated areas; fires, motor vehicles, swimming.

*All campers must be quiet between 10 p.m. and 7:00 a.m.

*All dogs must be leashed and waste removed.

*Use of metal detectors and remote control aircraft requires special permission.
