Welcome to Virginia's beautiful Presquile National Wildlife Refuge. This refuge was first established in 1953 in order to protect migratory bird habitat. Some of the resident wildlife include monarch butterflies, black ducks, blue herons, turtles, white-tailed deer, and many others.
