Welcome to Vermont's Mathewson State Forest. Many people come hunting here when it's the right season and the forest also has many multipurpose trails for all seasons. Come out and explore.

When visiting any State Park or State Forest in Vermont Please respect the rules.

*The following are prohibited; feeding of wildlife, littering, chainsaws,

*The following require special permits; posting of bills, removal of plants or earth material.

*Glass objects are not allowed in pools or swimming areas.

*The following are only allowed in designated areas, metal detecting, swimming, camping.

*Children aged 14 and under must be supervised by adults.

*All pets must be leashed no longer than 10 feet and waste removed.

Please respect these and all local, State of Vermont, and United States statutes.
