Vermont State Forests
Welcome to Vermont's beautiful Willoughby State Forest. Perhaps this forest's most unique feature is the 1,653 acre size Lake Willoughby which has cliffs on both sides rising upwards of over 1,500 feet above the lake's surface. The lake is 308 feet deep making it one of the deepest lakes in the northeastern United States. Come out and explore over 12 miles of hiking trails.
When visiting any State Park or State Forest in Vermont Please respect the rules.

*Glass objects are not allowed in pools or swimming areas.
*The following are only allowed in designated areas, metal detecting, swimming, camping.
*Children aged 14 and under must be supervised by adults.
*All pets must be leashed no longer than 10 feet and waste removed.
