Welcome to Vermont's Mount Ascutney State Park. This beautiful piece of land was purchased by the State of Vermont in the 1930's from E.J. York, the Bricknell Estate, and Weston Heights Inc. The park's amenities were built by the Civilian Conservation Corps and all the stone structures are made of Ascutney Granite. Ranging in elevation from as low as 550 feet to as high as 2,800 feet above sea Level, Mount Ascutney State Park boasts miles of trails, beautiful mountain views, over three dozen campsites, and much more. Come on out and explore.
