Cougar Creek Preserve

Bainbridge Island, Washington

Welcome to Cougar Creek Preserve in Bainbridge Island, Washington. This preserve was once home to a man named Captain William Renton and today helps protect the home of the island's largest and most beautiful western red cedar trees as well as animals like black bears, blue herons, coyotes, and a few species of frogs that can be heard singing on spring evenings. Come out and explore the trails or do a little bird-watching for barred owls and pileated woodpeckers.
