Welcome to Washington's beautiful Penrose Point State Park located on the shores of the Puget Sound near Lakebay. Many come out here to hikes the 2.5 miles of multipurpose trails and see the lush forest of ferns, maples, cedars, and many others. Birdwatchers flock here on occasion in hopes of catching a glimpse of a bald eagle. Many seafood lovers come here for the great saltwater fishing and crabbing opportunities. On clear days the visitor has a great view of Mount Rainier.
