Welcome to Sacajawea State Park, a place that was once a campsite on the Lewis and Clark Expedition. This beautiful peace of land, located at the confluence of the Columbia and Snake Rivers. The park itself was first deeded to the State of Washington in 1931 and was named for Sacajawea, a Native American woman of the Shoshone Nation who traveled with the Lewis and Clark Expedition. This park helps protect the home of coyotes, hawks, raccoons, rabbits, squirrels, deer and many others so please treat their home with respect. For those who love recreation Sacajawea State Park boasts campgrounds (only accessible via watercraft), boating access to the Snake and Columbia Rivers, and much more. Come on out and explore!
