Welcome to Seattle's natural and lovely Carkeek Park. Much of this park remains in meadow and forest state and offers the visitor magnificent views fo the Puget Sound and Olympic Mountains. This park was first established in 1918 and is named for Morgan Carkeek who immigrated to the region from England in the late 19th century. Come out and explore miles of hiking trails.
