Welcome to South Park located in Tacoma, Washington. This piece of land was once a section of Spanaway Lake until it was purchased by the City of Tacoma in 1893 which ultimately converted it into a city park in 1905. Today it's a major attraction boasting a water playground, gardens, access to the Water Ditch Recreation Trail, and much more. Come out and have fun.
