Welcome to Wisconsin's beautiful Kiel Marsh State Wildlife Area located on the banks of the Sheboygan River near Kiel. This park's landscape was formed by glacial retreat at the end of the last ice age over 10,000 years ago. The ice helped create small ravines known as kettles. Long before the first Europeans arrived in the region this was big hunting and fishing grounds for Native Americans.
