Welcome to Paunack Park located on the banks of the Yahara River just before it flows into Lake Monona in Madison, Wisconsin. This is a good place to launch a canoe or a kayak.

*Alcholic beverages are prohibited in the following parks, James Madison Park, Tenney Park, Penn Park, Lake Edge Park, Brittingham Park, and Demetral Park.

*All vehicles must stay in designated areas and obey all traffic laws.

*When hiking please stay on designated trails.

*The following are all prohibited, weapons, hunting, animals, picnics, fires.

*No removal of plants or animals without special permit.

*All Conservation Parks open at 4am and close one hour after dusk.
