As the name suggests, Milwaukee's Lake Park is located on the shores of Lake Michigan. Most of the athletic facilities including the five tennis courts and the multipurpose fields have lights for evening activitity. This place received the 2012 award of best public park in Milwaukee. Milwaukee County Park Ordinances 

*Unless otherwise posted all county parks open at dawn and close at dusk.

*The following are prohibited; littering, defacing public property, harming of wildlife. 

*The following are only allowed in designated areas; motor vehicles, organized athletic play, picnic grilling, bicycles, skateboards.

*The following require special permits; sales, solicitations, amplified sound, community meetings. 

*All dogs must be leashed no longer than 6 feet and waste removed.
