Rush Lake State Natural Area

Pickett, Wisconsin

Rush Lake State Natural Area helps protect one of the most diverse and important wetland habitats in Wisconsin. This place was first established in 1993 and is managed by both the State of Wisconsin as well as The Nature Conservancy. Rush Lake itself bears a strong resemblance to the continent of South America. The diverse bird population makes it a popular birding destination.
