Coal Dock Park
Welcome to Coal Dock Park located on the shores of Lake Michigan in Port Washington, Wisconsin, a suburb of Milwaukee. This park was once the site of where the barges would bring in the coal for the neighboring power plant but once the plant switched from coal to natural gas the coal dock was no longer necessary so the power company donated it to the city for use as a park. This park is also home to the local bird sancutary which connects to the rest of the park via bridge. Many festivals are hosted here throughout the year and the park is an excellent place to fly a kite.
