Welcome to Wisconsin's Lost Lake State Natural Area located near the town of Portage. This region's landscape was carved out by glacial retreat at the end of the last ice age thousands of years ago. Many small ponds were carved and boulders were left behind. Some of the wild animals that call this place home include snapping turtles, blue herons, red-tailed hawks, and many others. This natural park was first established in 1985.
