Welcome to the MacKenzie Environmental Education Center, a natural park located in Poynette, Wisconsin about 25 miles north of the State Capitol. This park helps protect a habitat of forests and prairies that give home to white-tailed deer, badgers, raccoons, hawks, owls, and many others. It is a popular field trip destination for school kids with one of the best environmental education centers in the State of Wisconsin. The park also is home to many captive animals including mountain lions, bison, bobcats, gray wolves, and the national bird the Bald Eagle.
