Collins Marsh State Wildlife Area is a natural park in Manitowoc County that the State of Wisconsin first purchased in 1959 after leasing the land for recreational purposes for many years. There are no designated trails but people do come here for hiking in all seasons as well as cross-country skiing in the winter. This park helps protect the habitat of many bird species including ospreys, geese, herons, and wrens. Thus it is a fantastic spot for bird-watching.
