Perrot State Park
Welcome to Wisconsin's Perrot State Park located at the confluence of the Trempealeau River and the Mississippi River near the town of Trempealeau. The land's previous owner John Latsch donated the land to the State of Wisconsin and requested that it be named after the great French Explorer Nicholas Perrot who once set up camp in the region. Many of the park's facilities were built by the Civilian Conservation Corps. The park's 500 foot bluffs offer wonderful views of the river and the surrounding area. Come out and explore over 12 miles of hiking trails.
Wildlife: Perrot State Park is home to deer, woodchucks, squirrels, raccoons, foxes and over 200 species of birds. Please treat their home with respect when visiting.
