Welcome to the site of North America's largest no cost outdoor skating facility, the magnificent Shaw Millenium Park in downtown Calgary on the banks of the Bow River. The park was first established in the year 2000, hence it's name, and it is over 75,000 square feet of skatable areas. Aside from the skate park there is also a small green multipurpose field and a full basketball court. Come out and hang ten! This park was RecPlanet place of the day on September 12, 2014.
