Welcome to the largest National Park in the United States, the magnificent Wrangell St. Elias National Park located where the Alaska, Wrangell, St. Elias, and Chugach Mountain ranges merge to form the "mountain kingdom" of North America. This majestic wilderness boasts the greatest collection of peaks towering over 16,000 feet ASL including Mount St. Elias at 18,008 feet (second highest in the United States) and the largest assemblage of glaciers in North America.
Fun Facts: *Ten million swans, geese, and ducks nest in Alaska each year. That's ten times the population of people in Montana!
*In Alaska, caribou outnumber people. There are about 616,000 people in Alaska and 900,000 caribou.
*Alaska has NO reptiles and NO rabbits (they are all hares). A rabbit is born without hair; hares are born with hair already. In Alaska, you need all the warmth you can get!

Some of the wild animals who call this place home include trumpeter swans, golden eagles, bald eagles, grizzly bears, beavers, squirrels, porcupines, black bears, foxes, and mountain lions.
