William Evans Memorial Park

Welcome to William Evans Memorial Park, home to the E. Boone Watson Community Center in Jonesboro, Arkansas. This place is named for Edomae Boone Watson, a local African-American activist and community leader who fought aggressively with both state and national organizations to help low income children.

The basketball court is a half court.

Jonesboro Arkansas Park Ordinances

*Unless otherwise posted all parks open 30 minutes before dawn and close 30 minutes after dusk.

*The following are prohibited; defacing public property, harming of wildlife, littering.

*The following are only allowed in designated areas; fires, motor vehicles.

*All dogs must be leashed (except at the dog parks) and waste removed. Dog parks are for local residents only.
