Welcome to Dead Horse Ranch State Park located in Arizona's mountain region surrounded by the Coconini National Forest. In the 1940's the Ireys Family came from Minnesota looking for some land to buy a family ranch and the kids liked the ranch that had the dead horse on it so that is how the ranch and the park got it's name.
