Welcome to Escalante Park in Tempe, Arizona. The city first purchased this land back in 1964 for a price of $47.5K. The park is named for the Escalante Brothers who died while fighting in the Pacific in World War II. The athletic facilities are lighted so people can play at night and the picnic area has grills.

*Unless otherwise posted all parks open at 6:00 a.m. and close at 10:00 p.m.

*The following are prohibited; defacing public property, glass objects, littering.

*The following are only allowed in designated areas; bicycling, boating, camping, fires, golfing, horseback riding, kite-flying, motor vehicles, skating, 

*The following require special permits; amplified sound, sales.
