Hanger Park
Welcome to Hanger Park located in Tempe, Arizona. This park was first established in the late 1980's and was named in honor of Mr. and Mrs. Carl Hanger, who lived in Tempe and played an active role in the community for nearliy a quarter century. Some of their community involvements included the local chapter of the 4-H club, the First United Methodist Church, and the PTA at Kyrene School. Some of their children still reside in Tempe to this day. Today Hanger Park not only gives the local citizens recreational opportunities but also plays an important role in flood control. The full basketball court, soccer field, and sand volleyball court have lights for night games. Come out and have fun.
