Welcome to Waggoner Park in Tempe, Arizona. This park was established in the 1970's and was named in honor of a local school district employee named C. Ilo Waggoner. Waggoner had a career in education for over three decades starting off as teacher and eventually becoming principal. The athletic facilities are lighted so people can play at night and the picnic area has grills so bring some meats for cooking.
