Welcome to California's grand and beautiful The Forest of Nisene Marks State Park located near Aptos, California. This park is named after the woman whose family donated most of the land to the State of California in 1963, Nisene Marks. The park's forest was once heavily logged for it's timber resources but over the years there has been great success in natural reforestation.

Trails: A large park often means a diverse landscape and this one is no exception. Elevation ranges from sea level along the coast to peaks that are nearly a half mile above sea level. There are over 30 miles of trails of varying difficulty just waiting to be explored.

To contact the park office please call 831-763-7063.
