Community Park

Welcome to one of the larger and more active recreation areas in Broomfield, Colorado, Community Park. Each year this park is home to the annual lighting of the Christmas tree. The skate park, ball diamonds, and tennis courts are all lighted so people can play at night. The open field is a great place for kite-flying. This park was RecPlanet place of the day on November 12, 2014.

Broomfield Colorado Park Ordinances 

*All recreation areas open at 5 a.m. and close at 11 p.m.

*The following activities are only allowed in designated areas; golfing, flying remote control aircraft, swimming, operating grills, use of narcotics, consumption of alcoholic beverages, use of foul langugage, engaging in threatening behavior, littering, disturbing plants or animals.

*The following activities require special permits; erection of tents, sales, solicitations, overnight camping. 

*It is a crime to abandon a domestic animal on park property. 

*All vehicles must say in designated areas and obey all State of Colorado traffic laws.
