Welcome to Connecticut's beautiful and historic Talcott Mountain State Park. One of the park's more unique features is it's beautiful Heublein Tower Mansion that was built by a man named Gilbert Heublein in 1914. Come out and hike the 1.25 mile nature trail and see the tower. In the early 1950's both Dwight D. Eisenhower and Ronald Reagan visited this place and both men would later become President of the United States. The picnic area has grills so bring some meats for cooking. Some of the resident wildlife include white-tailed deer, red-tailed foxes, wild turkeys, and even black bears.

The park's official website says 557 acres but the GIS data gives the number below. Thus the exact acreage is unknown.
