Welcome to the magnificent Seaside Park in Bridgeport, Connecticut. This is Bridgeport's largest park and was first established right after the end of the Civil War and was designed by the great Frederick Law Olmsted. The lighthouse operated for over a century from 1823 until 1932. P.T. Barnum, the man who started the circus, helped to establish this park. This is a great place for kite-flying on windy days.
