Dinosaur State Park

Rocky Hill, Connecticut

Welcome to Connecticut's Dinosaur State Park. Though small in size, this park boasts over 200 million years of fossil track history. The history of fossil discoveries in the Connecticut Valley region began in the 19th century when many local quarries began to dig up old fossils. In 1966 tracks were uncovered in the land that is now Dinosaur State Park. Come on out and learn a little history.
