Welcome to the beautiful and historic Fort Dupont Park located in Washington DC. Fort DuPont was built in order to protect the Capitol during the Civil War. Come out for a nice summer concert, learn some history, or explore the hiking trails where you might see some foxes, white-tailed deer, wild turkeys, or many others.
