Welcome to the National Mall, a beautiful urban park located in the heart of the nation's capitol. As the founder of RecPlanet I visited this place in March 1998 and in December of 2004. There are magnificent views of Washington DC from here including the Capitol Dome, the Lincoln Memorial, and much more. The open areas are great for flying kites or playing a game of ball. Come out and have fun.
