Welcome to Florida's beautiful Cayo Costa State Park located in the Gulf of Mexico. As the founder of RecPlanet I can honestly say that I have never been to this island however the one we used to go to every summer as a kid was the next one down and the scenery in this region is absolutely gorgeous. The waters are warm and calm making them great for swimming and snorkeling. The best islands are the ones that are only accessible via watercraft. Come out for some manatee or dolphin watching.
