Fred and Idah Schultz Nature Preserve

Welcome to Fred and Idah Schultz Nature Preserve in Gibsonton, Florida. Funding from the Southwest Florida Water Management District and the Jan K. Platt Environmental Lands Acquisition and Protection Program helped Hillsborough County purchase this land in 1995. This dune and marshland preserve helps protect habitat for many wild animals including seagulls, ospreys, and bobcats.
