Welcome to Jacksonville's Brackridge Park. This piece of land was once owned by the Skinner Family who owned many thousands of acres in the region. In 1954 Duval County purchased the land and for several years it was used as a landfill before being converted into a park in 1974. The park started off having facilities for tennis and baseball but soccer's popularity skyrocketed and those facilities were converted into soccer fields. The fields are lighted so people can play at night. The Jacksonville Jaguars Soccer Club has helped run this park for over 30 years. Come on out and have a blast!
