Welcome to Earl Johnson Memorial Park in Jacksonville, Florida. This park was once an operating landfill but became a city park in 1990 and is named for Earl Johnson, the first African-American member of the Jacksonville Bar Association. The picnic area has grills so bring some meats for cooking.
