Jacksonville's Glynlea Park opened in the mid-1950's in order to meet the recreational demands of the growing suburban areas. The local community association built the community center shortly thereafter and for many years this park's two lighted ball diamonds have been popular with local baseball leagues.

This was RecPlanet place of the day on August 29, 2017.
