Welcome to Raymond E. Davis Park located in Jacksonville, Florida. This urban playground was first established in the early 20th century when the Jacksonville Electric Authority donated a small piece of land to the City of Jacksonville for recreational purposes. After two years of hard work the City opened Spires Street Park but in 2004 renamed the place in honor of Raymond E. Davis, a pastor at a local church and active member of many local community organizations including the YMCA and Boys and Girls Club. Come out and have fun!
