Welcome to Ryder Park, located in Jacksonville's Grand Park community. The Ryder Truck Company once had an office in the region back in 1971 and they wanted to do something for the local community so in 1972 they donated this piece of land to the City of Jacksonville and in November 1973 a dedication ceremony opened the park. In 1976 the Seaboard Coast Line railroad donated another small piece of land to help expand the site.The basketball courts at this park are lighted and allow for night games. Come out and have fun!
