Welcome to Florida's beautiful Big Lagoon State Park, an oasis of pine forests, sandy beaches, and saltwater marshes located on the Gulf coast in Pensacola next to Cedar Key. This park was first established in the late 1970's and helps protect the home of white-tailed deer, foxes, raccoons, seagulls, pelicans, and many others. For the human visitor there is a 300 person amphitheater, an observation tower with spectacular views of the Gulf of Mexico, Gulf Islands National Seashore, and the surrounding region, 75 developed campsites and more. Come out and explore!
