Welcome to George Washington Carver Park located on the shores of Lake Allatoona in Acworth, Georgia. This was a state park until 1975 when it was transferred to Bartow County. The park was named for the renouned African-American botanist and inventor George Washington Carver. Mountain bikers from miles around come here to explore the park's trails.
