Welcome to one of the oldest and most loved State Parks in Georgia, the gorgeous Vogel State Park located in Georgia's Blue Ridge Mountains at the base of Blood Mountain. This wonderful park has a 22 acre lake with a seasonal swimming beach, a miniature golf course, over 100 developed campsites and over a dozen primitive ones, cottages, and so much more. It makes for a breathtaking hike in the fall when the leaves are changing. Keep an eye out for wild animals like white-tailed deer, bobcats, raccoons, hawks, owls, and many others.
