Chattahoochee River National Recreation Area

Welcome to the Chattahoochee River National Recreation Area, a park that consists of several sections on the banks of the beautiful Chattahoochee River in metropolitan Atlanta.

The Chattahoochee River National Recreation Area helps protect the home of numerous wild animals including otters, squirrels, raccoons, hawks, herons, turtles, trout, catfish, and many others. Please treat their home with respect.

Over 3 million people visit the Chattahoochee River National Recreation Area each year to hike it's trails, climb it's rocks, raft, canoe, kayak, or fish the river, or simply to enjoy the scenery. Come on out and have fun!
