Deer Lick Park

Welcome to the great Deer Lick Park located in Douglasville, Georgia. This is the headquarters of the Douglas County Parks and Recreation office and is thus one of the more popular recreation areas to be managed by the county. All of the athletic facilities are lighted so people can play at night.

Douglas County Park Ordinances

*The following are prohibited; defacing public property, littering, harming plants or animals, foul language, disturbing the peace, fighting, weapons, placing of signs.

*The following are only allowed in designated areas; fires, swimming, motor vehicles.

*Unless otherwise posted all parks open at 8:30 a.m. and close at 11:00 p.m.

*Groups 15 people and over must obtain permit to use park facilities.

*All dogs must be leashed no longer than 6 feet and waste removed.
