Ivey Terrace and Rock Creek Veterans Park

Welcome to one of the oldest parks in Gainesville, Georgia, the unique Ivey Terrace and Rock Creek Veterans Park, first built in 1936 by the Civilian Conservation Corps under the administration of Franklin Delano Roosevelt. Rock Creek Veterans Park is dedicated to the veterans of WWII, Korea, and Vietnam.

*All places open at 7 a.m. and close at sundown unless otherwise posted.

*The following activities require special permission; sales, solicitations, amplified sound.

*The following are prohibited; alcohol, defacing public property, harming wildlife, littering, tobacco.

*Fires are only allowed in the picnic grills.

*All vehicles must stay in designated areas and obey all State of Georgia traffic laws.
