Located in the Northwestern Corner of Georgia at the edge of Lookout Mountain, Cloudland Canyon State Park is a hiker's paradise! Formed by Sitton's Gulch Creek, the canyon's elevation ranges from as high as 1980 feet to as low as 800 feet. The canyons two magnificent waterfalls are a site to see. When Autumn brings cooler temperatures and the changing leaves, it makes for one of the best times of the year to hike the canyon. As the founder of RecPlanet I took my first trip here with my 8th grade class on October 24th, 1995. We took a long beautiful hike down into the canyon. Come on out and explore!
